This catalogue features the entire body of work from Bill Catling’s 2022 retrospective show titled The Weight of Memory. This exhibition featured work from Catling’s 37 years as a practicing artist, many of which are show together here for the first time. This extensive body of work touches on the themes Catling has been exploring for almost four decades: the resiliency and weight only found within the complexities of the human spirit.

The catalogue itself is 82 pages, featuring images of Catling’s work, documentation of the exhibition, various essays by the artist on themes within his work, and a curatorial essay by Todd Wingate of the Riverside Art Museum.
